IS A LASER TREATMENT STILL POSSIBLE WHEN I'VE HAD SCRATCHES ?
ANSWER
If you're still myopic or astigmate ("ovoid eyes") after your scratches operation, than, it's possible to ask an additional treatment with laser. Have you gradually became hyperopic after scratches (which is very classic) , than is laser less good. A positive implant may be a better solution.
CAN READING GLASSES BE ELIMINATED WITH LASER TREATMENT ?
ANSWER
Laser can eliminate the next following deviations:

hyperopia (= too short eye -can be solved with a positive correction)

myopia (too long eye)
-
astigmatism ("ovoid eyes" - can be solved with cylindrical glasses)
Reading glasses are due to the stiffness of the natural lens, so the focus can not work that well. Result: you have to hold your text progressivley further. It seems like your arms are getting too short. This can only be solved with multifocal glasses or lenses.
My opinion is that untill now, there isn't any good multifocal laser correction available.
AT WHAT AGE YOU CAN GET A LASER TREATMENT ?

It's preferable that you wait untill your correction is stable. That's why laser treatment starts at the earliest age of 18. Even better is, that you wait untill the studies are finished. MeanwhileIn you can try contactlenses. If you're over the age of 45, you have to know that you still need reading glasses (cfr supra) . From that age laser treatment is less chosen. If you have a beginning cataract, you have to know that cataract surgery can eliminate your glasses for far !
FOW WHICH STRENGHT OF GLASSES CAN THERE BE A LASER TREATMENT ?
ANSWER
From +2 untill -10 (wheter with cylindrical correction) . If the deviation is stronger, than lens-implantation should be considered.
IS IT POSSIBLE TO ELIMINATE A LAZY EYE WITH LASER CORRECTION ?
ANSWER
A lazy eye is less used by the brains. Sometimes that is caused by a asymmetric correction. This problem can almost always be solved with contactlenses. If that don't result into a better vision, this can't also be achieved with laser. Regurarly we notice that the eye nerves of the lazy eye are not so good developed, so it continues to see less well, despite an opimal correction. the test with the contactlenses learns us in what extend a lazy eye can be improved with the right correction.
